I used to think that Microsoft was all there was. This course has really been wonderful for me in realising there are so many talented people, and wonderful products out there just waiting to be discovered, used and improved. I love the whole concept of open source.
I think the microslave picture means that microsoft are trying to sell only their products. They always push the products they make into advitising alot more than another companies.
hmmmmmm.... Microsoft does seem to be everywhere nowadays. The new windows Vista seems to be just another windows. Every time a new windows comes out,it needs BETTER computers and ususally more trouble than it's worth.
I think Linux is a good alternative to windows.
When I grow up, maybe I'll invent a new operating system, that focuses on compatibility, rather that pretty start menus ;-)
On the other hand, I don't know much about apple Mac, but I don't think it will be much better......

I think linux won over microsoft and microsoft was arrested.
I like the picture i think it is really kool but i think it means that we should be slaves to microsoft because there is no better choice.
